Communion-friendly entertainment
For communion parties we usually recommend a mix of face painting (they all want their look refreshed after the church), balloon twisting, party games and a short disco section. If the kids are a bit calmer or older, magic shows work brilliantly too. We tailor the mix to the group size and energy level.
Where it can take place
Most communion parties happen at home, at a hotel function room, at a sports club or in a hall. We work in any of these spaces. Just let us know the layout and we'll bring the right equipment. For outdoor garden setups, we need a covered area and a plug socket nearby.
Timing tips
Communions tend to run long, with multiple events through the day. We recommend booking us for the afternoon or early evening segment when the kids are restless and the adults want to chat. Two hours is usually the sweet spot for most communion bookings.
FAQ
Will face painting ruin the communion outfit?
Our paints are easy to clean off skin with water and a wipe. They wouldn't stain a communion dress in normal circumstances, but if you're especially worried we can stick to glitter tattoos and balloons instead of full face painting.
How many kids can you handle at a communion?
We regularly work with groups of 20 to 40 children at communions. For larger groups, we recommend booking enough time so each child gets quality face painting and balloons.
Can you work outside if it's a garden party?
Yes, weather permitting. We need a covered shaded area for face painting and a plug socket for music. A garden gazebo or tent works perfectly.
