Who we are

Funland Kids Entertainment is a sole trader business operating in Dublin, Ireland, providing kids party entertainment services. You can contact us at info@funland.ie.

What information we collect

When you submit a booking enquiry or chat with our website assistant, we may collect:

• Your name and contact details (email, phone)
• Party details such as date, time, location and eircode
• A child's name and age, where you choose to provide them
• Any additional notes or messages you choose to share, including messages you send to our website chat assistant

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, organise your party, and follow up about your booking. We only ask for what we need for these purposes.

Our website chat assistant

Our website has a chat assistant that can answer questions and help you send an enquiry. To provide it, the messages you type are processed by a third-party AI service acting on our behalf. Please do not share anything you would not want processed this way. The assistant does not confirm bookings, a real person (Aline) always confirms availability and the final quote.

Cookies and analytics

We only load analytics and advertising cookies if you choose "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you decline, they are not loaded. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser. We do not use cookies to sell your data.

Once you accept, we use:

• Google Analytics and a Google advertising tag, to measure visits and see which pages are popular (aggregate website-usage data).
• Microsoft Clarity, which provides heatmaps and anonymised session recordings (such as mouse movement, clicks and scrolling) to help us see how the site is used and improve it. Clarity is set up to hide the personal details you type, such as your name, email and phone number, so they are not captured in recordings.

These analytics tools only receive website-usage data. They do not receive your booking or contact details.

Follow-up and review requests

After your party, we may email you to see how it went or to invite you to leave us a review. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in feedback and in improving our service. You can opt out at any time by replying to the email or contacting us at info@funland.ie, and we will not contact you again for this purpose.

How we store and protect your data

Booking enquiries are handled by email and kept in a secure system so we can manage your booking and follow up. We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as we need them to provide our services and for our ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time (see Your rights below). We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties who handle data for us

The details you give us (your contact and party details) are only handled by:

• An email delivery provider (to send and receive booking emails)
• A website hosting and secure database provider
• An AI chat provider (only for the messages you send our website chat assistant)

Separately, we use analytics and advertising tools that handle only website-usage data (such as cookies, device information and which pages are viewed). These tools do not receive your booking or contact details.

All of these providers process data on our instructions, and we are happy to tell you the specific providers on request.

Your rights under GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Opt out of our follow-up or review emails at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie)

Children's privacy

Although our services are for children, all enquiries and bookings must be made by a parent or guardian (aged 18 or over). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any details you share about a child, such as their name and age, are used only to plan your party and kept to the minimum necessary.
